11/18 -- Thanksgiving A Week Away!

Just got thinking about thanksgiving and the traditions that it brings.  First off let me say, thanksgiving is my favorite holiday by far!  Great food, family, and football on tv...Add the nap and how could life get any better?

But I was wondering what kind of traditions you have for thanksgiving?  Special recipes, activities?  Email me some of them so I can share them with everyone...

Incase you don't know, I'm a huge cook...Perhaps explains the waitline I've battled all my life...But I grew up with my mother a chef, so to say the least I've been in and around a kitchen most of my life!  This yea I an instilling a new tradition into the family...No more same ole roast turkey...And why not have a way to show of the fruits of my hunting labor, but to make a Turducken.

Turducken, you ask?  A turkey, stuffed with a duck, stuffed with a chicken...So I've got my recipe all wrote up and I'm gonna share it with ya here...just click here to download it.

And be sure to click here and send me your Thanksgiving traditions!

11/17 -- Seriously???

Palin angered by 'sexist' Newsweek cover

First off, I'm sick of seeing her in the news at all...So you wrote a book?  Big deal?  But this couldn't happen to a beter person...

For the second time since Sarah Palin stepped into the national political spotlight, a photo of the former Republican vice-presidential candidate featured on the cover of Newsweek magazine is sparking controversy. Palin herself blasted the "out-of-context" cover as "sexist" on her Facebook page.

Originally published in the August 2009 issue of Runners World, the photo features the former Alaska governor in short runner's shorts. It was part of a multi-photograph slideshow that accompanied an article about Palin and her love for the sport titled, "I'm A Runner." In her Facebook post late last night, Palin took issue with Newsweek using a photo from an article about health and fitness to promote an analysis piece contemplating her relevance as a political figure.

I say "Shut up and deal with it!  That's what that little "photo release" was that you signed back before the shoot!..."  I'm sooo fed up with these people crying that this and that's not fair...Blah blah.  You signed a photo release!  Glad to see that governement leaders are dumber than me!  KNOW WHAT YOUR SIGNING!  And then SHUT UP!

There I spoke my 2 cents...
